Sunny Cove State Marine Park

The United States is full of natural wonders and getaways that need exploring. Visiting state parks is one way to enjoy all this country has to offer. Every state has a park that is filled with natural beauties and activities.
Alaska parks
Alaska is one state that needs no sanctuary to enclose all its natural wonders but nonetheless has many. The resurrection Peninsula has several parks for your enjoyment, including one called Sunny Cove State Marine Park. It is a 960-acre park filled with wild life, natural beauty and spectacular views.
Water activities
This is a water front park that features fine gravel beaches for all your water activities. If you do not want to get in the water, you can enjoy the seabirds and marine mammals that frequent the area. If you are a fisherman, you are sure to love this location for the abundance of fishing. The location of the park allows you to view many famous sights like Bear Glacier, Callisto Head and Kenai Fjords National Park.
Camping
Camping at the park is allowed, and the south beach of the park is a perfect spot to camp. There are several other locations if beach camping is not your cup of tea. One thing to consider is that certain times of the year there are only limited amounts of fresh water provided by small waterfalls that line the shore.
It is a marine lover’s getaway that is filled with wildlife and natural beauty. It is a great place for nature lovers of any age.
